An influential voice

Leadership groups will help guide best practice.

The federal government has pledged $58 million to create special leadership groups, made up of nurses and doctors, within the hospital system. The lead clinician groups will help guide local hospital networks on how best practice is going to be achieved locally. A national leadership group will also be established as part of the funding. They will also be charged with improving hospital safety, the allocation of services as well as assessing community needs.
