A former aged care nurse has been accused of assaulting eight residents at a facility in Sydney’s inner west.
The 56-year-old woman, who worked as a nurse at the Ashfield facility for 10 years, assaulted six men aged 79 to 95 and two women aged 53 and 86, police said in a statement on Wednesday.
The alleged assaults happened between February and October 2019.
The woman was on Wednesday charged with eight counts of counts of common assault and is due to appear in Burwood Local Court on March 18.
