Quality care later in life is a key concern for many Australians. It can be argued that the quality of care currently available is perceived to be in decline due to a number of forces – funding and investment in the sector, affordability, resourcing and increasing skills shortage, a more informed and clientele with higher expectations and the current system not working. But what is and could be on the horizon?
FutureCare 2017 will explore:
- Future funding and financing of the sector
- Embracing new sustainable models of care
- Understanding the attitudes, expectations and needs of the next generation of clients
- Innovation in the design and delivery of aged care to address clients’ needs
- Maximising workforce efficiency by using innovative technology platforms
In addition to a stimulating program attendees will have the opportunity to meet and reconnect with a number of innovative suppliers to the Aged Care sector. From HR software, mobility products, monitoring systems and new gadgets there will be plenty to see, do and interact with during the breaks.
