A Perth aged care worker has been charged with three counts of indecent assault.

Perth aged care worker charged over alleged assault

A 27-year-old aged care worker has been charged with indecently assaulting a male resident in an aged care facility.

Police reported on Tuesday that the assault allegedly occurred at an aged care facility in Perth's western suburbs last Friday.

The resident is believed to be in his 80s.

The accused man was charged with three counts of indecently dealing with an incapable person on Saturday.

The man was employed by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to work at multiple aged care facilities around Perth.

He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled for the Perth Magistrates Court on April 2.
