Acquisition lifts Anglicare Sydney to 46 homes, 7,500 staff across four states
Anglicare has assured residents there will be no disruption to daily routines
Anglicare Sydney has formally completed its acquisition of Infinite Care, cementing the organisation as one of Australia’s largest Christian for‑purpose residential aged care providers.
The deal expands Anglicare Sydney’s footprint to 46 residential aged care homes, approximately 5,300 beds and around 7,500 staff across New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia, a significant escalation from the 42 homes and 7,000 staff announced when the acquisition was first revealed in March.
Anglicare chief Simon Miller said the completion represents a major milestone in building scale and sustainability at a time when aged care providers are under pressure to meet rising demand and regulatory change.
“Together with Infinite Care and Autumn Aged Care, we are bringing together three organisations with a shared commitment to dignity, belonging and whole‑of‑person care,” he said.
“Bringing our organisations together creates the opportunity for a powerful platform to build on their strengths and deliver even greater care and choice to older Australians.”
Residents will continue receiving care from the same teams they know, with no disruption to daily routines.
Infinite Care and Autumn Aged Care will retain their existing brand names for the immediate future, reflecting a staged integration approach.
Anglicare Sydney residential care chief Laurie Boxwell said the focus now shifts to combining best practice across the three organisations to deliver life‑enriching care and greater opportunities for staff.
The expanded organisation is also positioned to bring new beds to market through development opportunities across its enlarged portfolio.
Infinite Care chief Luke Greive said the transition enhances the organisation’s ability to deliver high‑quality, holistic care.
“At Infinite Care, we believe aged care is about dignity, belonging and creating places our residents are proud to call home,” he said.
“Joining with Anglicare Sydney strengthens our ability to deliver whole‑of‑person care, supporting residents clinically, emotionally and spiritually.”
